Five rooms. Something lives in each of them. Two scored rounds per room. Your best in each adds up to your score.

Swipe through the sweets to slice them. Each round lasts 60 seconds.
Banish drifting spirits for 100 points. Every spirit banished brings the whole company closer to opening the Attic.
Don't touch whatever haunts the room. It takes 5 seconds off your clock.
Golden pumpkins start a frenzy with double points.

How to play

Getting in

Enter your name and department. Use the same spelling every time so your scores stay together.
Click Enter the manor, then pick any of the five doors.
Hold the mouse button and swipe to slice. On a phone, swipe with your finger. Each round lasts 60 seconds.

Points

Winning

Your score is your best round in each room, added together. Five decent rounds beat one great one.
Only your first 2 rounds in each room count. After that you can keep practising, but the score isn't saved. Make them count.
Every 8 sweets in a row raises your multiplier, up to ×4. Letting one fall resets it.
Slice 3 or more in one quick swipe for a combo bonus.
During a round you'll see your best and the room record. Beat them for a New personal best or Room record.

The ghosts fight back

A few times each round a ghost lunges at the screen and blocks your view. Keep swiping. Gentle mode swaps these for a quick flicker.
The Lake: never swipe through the Lady in the Lake (−3 sec). Fogtown: only your torch lights the way. The Attic: candles die, points ×1.5.

Rivals and showdowns

The Bent-Neck Lady keeps watch on your rival, the player just ahead of you. She'll whisper when someone passes you.
When the host calls a Showdown, everyone has 3 minutes in one room. The top 3 win 1,500, 1,000 and 500 bonus points.
The host can also start a Blood Moon (double points), Lights Out (torch only) or a Spirit Storm.
Every spirit you banish helps open the Attic for everyone.

Teams

Each department scores the average of its 5 best players. Empty places count as zero, so bring your colleagues.
